Verona, a residential community, consists of approximately 45.7 acre parcel of land located just north of State Highway 470, west of Lucent Boulevard, and south of County Line Road/McLellan Reservoir. This development is intertwined in the existing Highline Canal Trail that passes through many parks and other amenities winding 71 miles between Aurora and Roxborough State Park. Verona is targeted to accommodate residents 55 years and older; who desire to downsize their existing homes while enhancing their active lifestyles. This community promotes an active lifestyle while minimizing the need for exterior building maintenance and metro district manicured landscaping. The Tuscan style architecture does an amazing good of joining the development together and creates a tremendous sense of community. Douglas County was elated that Century Communities would including condominium buildings as part of the project density and also offering attainable housing within the development. Century Communities has labeled these projects as one of their flagship developments for 2019/2020. Paragon Engineering performed the following civil services for the project: site layout for the buildings, landscaping, and parking, site grading, ADA accessibility, street design, drainage and storm sewer conveyance, water distribution system, sanitary sewer system, erosion control – best management practices. Paragon Engineering is honored to be part of the design group for this project and to continue the final phase of this amazing development to its completion.
